do i need slumber?

i havent been able to sleep when for the past 15 years. i will be turning 29 this year.

as far as i can recall, i do well with meagre sleep. the max i stayed awake is 48hours. not that im trying to bear the world record. i lay in my bed at 11pm, get off bed at 8am without going into sleep a second, go to school, get home and same thing happens. i was so worried that i had to make an appoint with the doctor to get sleeping pills.

these days i sleep an average of 5 hours, i will switch off the lights at 11pm, cant fall asleep till 2am, wake up at 7am , go to work ,same thing happens.

much to scientific studies, my memory is still at its best, im not certain it will be in a few years.

i dont particular enjoy sleeping and i dont think i need much of it either.

its 330am , ive to wake up at 8am and i still cant sleep.

back on track

i havent wrote in a long time, i know i should be doing it.
work isnt tiring but waking up early is.

i do like my job and the hours can stretch to 2am at times, im not complaining. i believe in sowing the seeds for my future.

when i was 15 , a classmate of mine emery was once asked by a teacher " emery what is your name ?".

occasionally we will mock him by writing that phrase on the blackboard ( yes we used chalks in the past ) , Once the english teacher saw that scrawl on the wall , he said to us, this questions is similar to asking "what is the value of a $2 note ? "

Humming is a korean romance movie of 2 lovers who have to part separate ways, though the usual cute korean gal actions are omnipresent, it doesn't make the movie kitsch a single bit.
It isn't boy meets gal , boy fell for gal totally.
Boy did fall for gal but over time he forgets the promises he made and feels less for her, but gal doesn't falter.
While riding on a bicycle to see him, she got into an accident. However the next morning she appeared at his doorstep,he dismissed her enthusiasm in the 2000th day anniversary , got dressed and hurried off to work. Shortly later, he received a call from her mom saying her daughter met with an accident last night.

The next few scenes, audiences are taken a trip back to how boy met gal and while he feels guilty about her misfortune , miraculously she visits him in the mornings, drops him notes . His best friend from school and colleague thinks he's beating himself up and it is impossible for her to be on the hospital bed yet visits him.
As he reminisce their lovely past, he realized how much he has loved her and had once promised to scale the mountain with her.

Like all love movies, i wished for a happy ending.
This comes with loss yet hope and strength.

from kl to penang

While walking past a store that sells travellers equipment , i noticed a sign " the world is a book, those who do not travel only read a page " st Augustine.

This is spurred me to finished something long overdue and i believe i shall have many more places i will be going.

We checked out of the hotel at 11am, had lunch with high hopes of scoring a cheap meal but it amounted to no different from a meal bought in Singapore.

Pudu raya is boiling cauldron filled with touts ,it is impossible to maneuver without bumping into the person beside, such places breeds pickpocket activities and syndicate, last i heard an ex classmate of mine had his passport picked from him pocket.
Not being able to speak much malay, engaging a chinese fellow is an obvious choice, a big sized man was standing at the front of one of the many bus ticketing booth.
He said the bus would take us to georgetown ni bong terminal bus, i remember reading that the terminal is at mainland butterworth, sounds like a typical con man, nevertheless wilson said its cheaper than other booths, we should give it a shot.

5-6hours later we reached georgetown terminal. ok he is legitimate, my apologies.
we got into a guesthouse at the main street of love lane , my first impression is a british colonial architecture at the exterior would be a posh to place.
So it is the extreme but not to what i assumed, the walls have dark water marks, patches of algae , the image of slime oozing from the holes keep appearing in my head, to complete the grotesque condition, the beds are massage bed used by what a masseuse would use.

We turned the propreitor down politely and came out , an elderly man cycled pasted then stopped in his tracks, turned around and asked if we are looking for rooms,i hesitated for an honest answer while wilson blurted out " YES ! " .
He mentioned of a place at the left lane which might have some vacant rooms.
I told my partner that i hope we are not getting into any trouble when he cycled off.

Starlight offers reasonable priced rooms, so much for being paranoid. But being in a foreign country, one shouldnt let his guard down.

At the bar, an english guy told us of a full moon party at koh phangan in mid october , he invited us to check it out.I was looking forward to it. however it is a high chance i wont make it, vietnam is like next door to thailand.Furthermore we are talking about south of thailand, i will be middle of vietnam by then.
